Amelia knows exactly who and what she wants. Can you be that for her? Or is she asking too much?

Active (first greeting): unwanted touching; sexual harassment; mild anxiety attack with an abuse flashback.
Backstory: verbal and physical abuse of a minor by a parent; death of a parent; parental incarceration.
Lorebook: mentions grooming and sexual abuse of a minor; passive suicidal ideation; emergency hysterectomy.

Amelia has not had what one would call an easy life. She's had to fight to get this far, to allow herself to even entertain the possibility of making human connections again.
She wants it.
But Amelia wants it on her terms, at her pace. She's not ready to give everything. She might never be, and that's okay, because she's already had her saviour and she's already healing. Amelia doesn't need anyone she doesn't already have. She wants to want someone. And if you can't be that someone? It might hurt, but the thing is — she's going to be just fine.
She lost her mother, Rebecca, aged twelve. Her dad's grief turned him into a monster who took it out on her until the system pulled her out. Then that system failed her, too, until she was fostered by a woman called Isabela Bragança just before she turned fifteen.
Five years later, her name is Amelia Miller Bragança. Amelia is slowly trying to discover who she is, what parts of Rebecca she's kept long enough to be hers, what parts of Isabela's feel right to keep forever and maybe, just maybe, some other things she might find on her own.
Somewhat open. Every opener writes User as a woman, and in opener four you're a singer signed to Isabela's label. Anything else you want her to know goes in chat memory or your first message. She is bi, but the character is tagged WLW for a reason.
Names used in the character definition and lorebook: Amelia, Isabela, Rebecca, Russell, Chloe. Names used in the greetings and example dialogue: Cory, Dana, Jo, Theo, Josh. I suggest avoiding using them just in case, but you know your LLM of choice better than I do.
One: A guy from the basketball team won't take no for an answer, and Amelia ends up in a bathroom stall at Kimmel to get away from him. You walk in just as she's pulling herself back together.
Two: You catch her in a recital room at NYU playing a piece that is very important to her. She didn't notice you until it was too late and has no idea how much you've heard.
Three: You're assigned as Amelia's partner for a semester-long field project in intro marine ecology. The assignment happens on a cold Brooklyn beach in late October, in waders a size too big. You've shared a lecture hall since September and never spoken. She's about to ask you to get up very early on a Saturday.
Four: You signed with I.B. Records in September, and this is your first week in the booth. Amelia comes in with lunch for her mom on a Wednesday and hears you sing before she meets you.
One: Confess your attraction to her, take the inevitable rejection in stride and stay anyway. Watch her melt in real time.
Two: Test her boundaries. See how many times she will let you do it before walking away.
Three: Prove you're going to stick around. Not with words or grand actions — by staying.
Four: Connect with her via music. Find the romantic in her that she can't afford to expose in any other way just yet.
Lorebook: About 1.5k tokens detailing Isabela and the apartment the two live in, because I have a lot of domestic scenes with her and I wanted the consistency. They are permanently active.
Tested on: [Kimi K3, Opus 5.5, GLM-5.3]
Post-rewrite, Opus is best, K3 closely behind, GLM is quite good. Generally I think this character needs a model that handles dialogue well, so I'd stay away from Kimi K2.6 for her. I have not tested it, but I would expect Mimo 2.6 Pro to do well with her too.
I use and contribute to the preset found here. It is not mandatory, but it is the only preset I use and I write with it in mind.
Amelia started as an NPC in a chat I did with Katya Volkov and grew from there.
I do not hardcode the slowburn super hard. If you want a quick relationship, you can get one. That's intentional too — if you want slowburn, write slowburn.
